This artwork was an assignment in 2009. It consists of 6 small sized pictures which depict 6 different mindsets/things observed in Singapore. Bubee is the ladybird in the pictures while the other creature is her friend. The 6 things observed in Singapore are depicted through their own "adventures".

Being Number One:
This picture is coloured with warm and bright colours and thus has a happy mood. The picture depicts a little "creature" holding an examination paper with the results initially stated as 1/20, but changed to "position: 1". this suggests that everyone can be first in their own way.





Great Foresight:
The mother of Bubee painted in black suggests complete dominance over Bubee, her daughter. This picture depicts Bubee foreseeing her mother beating her up due to poor results, and indeed she has great foresight like many students do.






We Are Big-hearted:
This picture shows Bubee and her friend donating their toys to "children of Africa". This shows that even children can be big-hearted in charity, so are adults in today's society.







We Love Food:
The picture is painted in bright colours. Grass land, blue sky and white fluffy clouds were also painted in the background. This picture depicts a giving Bubee (its friend) a few hundred dollars in exchange of a tasty lollipop. This shows that people nowadays love food.





We Feel For Other Singaporeans:
The background is painted with much care to create the watery effect of a rainy day. This picture shows that "people" do care for one another these days, and especially towards those in need. Two healthy kids are helping an old "person" with her walking in the rain.




Law Abiding:
There is an irony shown in this picture as it shows that when a restaurant does not allow smoking, people DO abide to it. However, in exchange to their law abiding, people DO NOT even go into the restaurant to eat. They find other places where smoking is allowed.
